Saint’s is an all nighter - a basement diner that serves pizza and pasta to city dwellers and night owls. Pizza has its own 1950s aesthetic, and so the colours are strong, positive, and upbeat, the type is busy, and the image is all inner city cool.
Maison/04 had built a private clientele on twenty years of word-of-mouth, but their visual identity hadn't been touched since 1998 and couldn't carry a ready-to-wear launch.
